Josephine Ranes is an accomplished poet from the Pacific Northwest. With 5 (working on the 6th right now) books published, she has more than dipped her toes into the writing field.
Growing up a military dependent, she moved quite frequently, and never really got a handle on her writing until adulthood. It was a college course she took one year that an instructor pulled her aside and suggested she take up writing for more than just class. Poetry seemed to be her nature, and suited her interest, so she dove into it with fervor.
Now nearly 6 books later, you can see why that instructor said that. Her poetry is real, raw, and cuts down to the core.
