So it may be acceptable on a duvet day, or if you are going out that night- so save all your washing, brushing and shaving till the end of the day- but sisters- three days of no water near your body is just plain nasty.
In light of new evidence that only 21% of women wash every day (Flint + Flint), we take a look at some of the other steps women skip to get an extra few minutes in bed.
Brush their teeth at bed time- Unless you are having sex of course, but your breath is going to smell in the morning regardless of the brushing so why bother right?
Miss out deodorant- Unless it is firmly fixed in your daily routine, you can forget and by the end of the day, there is enough moisture in there to grow something. Keep a spare in your handbags peeps.
Not washing hands- It's ok, you carry hand sanitizer- that will suffice- besides there is probably more germs on the taps and the driers than you want to consider.
Showering- A quick flannel wash demonstrated by Claire Danes in Homeland will do the trick and up dos are all in so no one will think that you have greasy locks- just a bang on fashion sense.
Flint + Flint owner Maxine Flint comments:
As for not showering, I understand the appeal of a lie-in but skipping a morning wash is both anti-social for the people around us and unhealthy. We are talking about routines that literally take minutes out of your day. It's true that today's pace of life is fast but surely as a nation we haven't become too busy to wash!"
Shaving- This is only necessary if you are having sex, going swimming, on holiday or to the spa- otherwise you can cover up with clothes and cleverly practiced body positions. Waving enthusiastically is totally out.
Take off your make up at night- This is one of the main things that ages a woman's face, but apparently you don't care about wrinkles when its 11pm- the pillow will get most of it anyway.
