Frankie Bridge for the #FeelSuper campaign

Please tell us about the #FeelSuper campaign for those who are unfamiliar with it? This isn’t your first time working with the campaign so what made you want to be part of it for a third year running?

The Feel Super is campaign is all about raising funds for the amazing work Marie Curie nurses do. I’ve once again teamed up with P&G and Superdrug and together we’ve already raised almost £400,000 which is enough to fund 18,000 hours of vital care for patients and this year we’re committed to reaching the half a million mark.

I love being a part of this campaign as it’s really simple to get involved, as all people need to do is stock up on their favourite beauty buys from Superdrug. From 5th April to the 2nd May, each time you buy a selected P&G product including brands such as Olay, Pantene and Oral-B, the purchase will trigger a donation to Marie Curie. 1 product = 1 donation.

Why is Marie Curie such a special cause for you?

I think it’s a special cause for most people. Everyone has been touched by a family illness and I think it’s so important to support charities like Marie Curie who are making a real difference to people living with terminal illness as well as supporting their families.

Today I’m actually at Marie Curie Hospice West Midlands, meeting some of the patients and their families who Marie Curie care for and support, as well as some of the amazing staff and volunteers. I’m really excited to hear first-hand how important donations from campaigns like #FeelSuper are in making a difference to so many people.

But I know there’s still so much to be done, in fact one in four people with terminal illness not receiving the care they need, that’s why the #FeelSuper campaign is so important for raising awareness of this and encouraging others to get involved.

What things make you and your family feel super?

Quality time together makes us feel super! We love sending time together as family, whether that’s going to the park or staying in with a film. The boys are at such a fun age and we’re a very happy family. I also love having a bit of me time, there’s nothing better than a giving yourself a pamper whether that’s putting a hair mask on, like an Aussie 3 minute miracle mask, or just painting my nails. nails.

Money will be raised through the sales of Oral B, Gillette and Olay products from Superdrug, so do you have any go to items from these brands at home?

I use lots of these items at home! My favourites are the new Pantene Repair and Protect Foam Conditioner, which is light weight but leaves your hair feeling silky smooth, I also use Venus razors and Wayne has the Gillette Fusion Proglide too, we all use Oral B 3D White toothpaste and of course I buy Pampers for the boys!

Mother’s Day has just been so how did you celebrate?

I generally really look forward to it! I usually spend the morning at home with the boys and then take my mum out for dinner. I always feel very loved and like to spoil my mum too.

How has your attitude to life changed since becoming a mum?

My priorities have certainly changed and I’ve realised what’s really important in my life. They are the best thing that’s ever happened to me they constantly do something amazingly sweet that reminds you how lucky I am. It might be a quiet cuddle on the sofa, or reading a story with them before bed or just watching them play together. Parker loves his little brother and it’s so cute to see him looking after Carter – he’s so gentle with him it’s adorable.

Being a mum and recognising how important family is, also makes me even more passionate about doing campaigns like #FeelSuper.

What is next for you?

I’m really enjoying where I am at the moment. I’m very lucky in that I get to try a few different things, like supporting campaigns and presenting...in fact I’m going to be filming another documentary for Channel 5 again soon. It allows me to still work and do the things I love while being a hands on mum and spending plenty of time with my family.
