On March 2nd, 2022, 2K Games revealed some of what fans can expect from the 2K Showcase, along with a Rey Mysterio and MyRISE trailer. Now, the game has even more to offer.

WWE 2K22, which is set to release in just a few days, has a brand new game mode that allows players to have even more nail-biting experiences in-game.
The new mode, titled MyFACTION, was unveiled only yesterday (March 4th, 2022), and is the first of its kind for the gaming franchise.
MyFACTION is an all-new take on a classic team-building mode; players will collect, manage, and also upgrade a myriad of different WWE Legends and Superstars, which will allow users to create their best version of an ultimate four-person faction.
Managers and Side Plates boost performance, whereas Logos, Wallpapers, and Nameplates mean players can be creative with customisation.
It is no small feat however, to build the ideal faction that may rival noteworthy groups such as the New World Order (nWo), D-Generation X (DX), and Evolution.
Here are some useful tips to remember:
- Players will need to make significant choices when picking the best Superstars for their factions, and will need to know which boosts to utilise in order to win.
- If you need some extra muscle, think about drafting your favourite Powerhouse into action, like Big E or Rhea Ripley. If speed and devastating martial arts are in order, a Striker like Shinsuke Nakamura may be the best move.
- Experimentation is encouraged, as there are many Legends and Superstars to choose between; this means there are a great number of combinations at your disposal.
MyFACTION players can also put their teams to the test, faction against faction in Faction Wars, play in different match types in Proving Grounds and, complete a new Tower each week. There are also daily challenges to complete.
The game offers three kinds of in-game currency; Points can be used to redeem card packs and contracts, and are given for completing challenges and matches.
Tokens are for unlocking powerful WWE Superstar and Legend cards. Similarly, they can be obtained by completing challenges and matches.
Virtual Currency is also available; players can use their own personal money to purchase card packs, boxes and contracts. (Anything that players can unlock with Virtual Currency can be unlocked with MyFACTION Points, as well.)
Even more rewards can be obtained in specific MyFACTION modes, such as Weekly Towers and Faction Wars; new card pack themes will release frequently, too.
WWE 2K22 releases on March 11th, 2022, as the standard edition and Cross-Gen Bundle; the Deluxe Edition and nWo 4-Life Digital Edition will be available on March 8th, 2022.
