On March 2nd, 2022, 2K revealed the trailer for two all-new modes coming to WWE 2K22, coming soon this month (March, 2022.)
Players will be able to relive significant moments from iconic wrestler Rey Mysterio’s iconic 20-year career with WWE.
Users will can also play through Mysterio’s career, or begin their own personal journey to make their way to the top.
Recently this week (beginning February 28th, 2022), 2K revealed an exciting first look at two new game modes, with the 2K Showcase along with the MyRISE trailer.
WWE 2K22 will retell Mysterio’s amazing career; the trailer also gives a look at the narratives for the men’s and women’s division available in MyRISE.
In Mysterio’s 2K showcase, players have the opportunity to take on iconic opponents, such as Eddie Guerrero, The Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels, not to mention current Superstars, including The Miz and Dolph Ziggler.
The game boasts fast-paced gameplay and impressive transitions to memorable live-action footage using 2K’s unique new Slingshot Tech, creating a truly exciting and thrilling gaming experience.
In regard to MyRISE, players will be able to experience the journey of a WWE star, from the start as a Rookie, all the way to being a WWE legend, after facing adversity at many different stages along the way.
The men’s and women’s storylines will see players come across a wide selection of Superstars on their journey to becoming the best of the best.
The recently-released trailer for WWE 2K22 perfectly showcases the game’s flawless transitions, use of live, historical footage from previous matches, as well as words on his career from the legend himself.
We also see how the options for the game are set out; play as Mysterio in his game-changing career, or forge your own path with a customisable character who will take you from the beginning to the end, with stardom to aim for.

WWE 2K22 will be available from March 11th, 2022.
