The brand-new trailer for WarioWare: Get It Together has landed, along with a demo available on the Nintendo eShop!
When we think of Wario, we may also think of Mario, Luigi, and all the other characters from the Mario series of games; well not this time. WarioWare: Get It Together sees Wario in the lead role, along with some of his friends.
Players are needed to aid Wario and his team play their way out of an entire world of microgames. For the first time, fans can play as various characters from the WarioWare universe in a myriad of modes including a story mode, a Variety Pack, as well as online challenges.
Along with Wario, plays can control the rest of the crew, including Jimmy T, Ashley, 9-Volt, and many more in hundreds of their own microgames; not only that, but each character’s distinct and abilities can be utilised to master each challenge, creating an even more exciting experience.
Players can share a Joy-Con with a friend, and take on the story mode together, or even enjoy the chaos from your own personal Switch console, in local wireless multiplayer mode.
The Variety Pack offers a fun, competitive party mode to play (locally) with friends using the same console. With up to four players, you can compete in microgames and host other fun challenges; you can work together or work alone to win big!
Players can even throw their hat in the ring with Wario Cup, a weekly rotating high score challenge, or in ranked mode with online leader-boards.
The trailer for WarioWare: Get It Together showcases the game’s fun style, and sees a multitude of characters (as well as Wario) who, in order to escape the game they were sucked into, must beat the microgames in order to be free.
Microgames challenge the player to think and act fast in loads of different situations; the trailer shows some of these microgames in action and definitely hypes up the game ahead of its release.
Each character can be used to tackle the microgames, but in a variety of ways, given that each character has their own unique abilities, making the game even more fun.
However, players must unlock Wario’s team through story mode in order to be able to utilise their powers in the microgames.
Having Wario himself narrate the trailer makes it hilarious, as the character’s somewhat evil demeanour creates a comical atmosphere for the game.
WarioWare: Get It Together will release onto Nintendo Switch on September 10th, 2021: the demo is available now!
