Games these days are more realistic and more memorable than ever before, and the newly enhanced A Plague Tale: Innocence is no different.

Asobo Studio and Home Focus entertainment are proud to present the award-winning game, A Plague Tale: Innocence, in a new and dynamic light as the survival horror game is given a new lease of life.

Plague Tale: Innocence is a story-driven, action-adventure horror game, where you must utilise stealth and caution to survive. The intense and destructive atmosphere works well together to immerse players into the Plague-riddled environment.

The game was originally released in 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PS4 and Xbox One. The story follows a young girl named Amicia and her little brother Hugo through a journey of hardship and terror, as they fight their way through The Plague in 14th century France.

Now, you can play the digitally enhanced version of the game on a number of new platforms, including Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Players who own a Nintendo Switch will also be able to play the game (digitally) as a cloud version, allowing players to access the critically-acclaimed game through cloud streaming technology.

Physical releases of the newly updated game will be available October 19th, 2021.

As of today, players can experience a more visually stunning and faster game as they battle through a disease-filled France in order to make it out alive.

The trailer for the enhanced version is stunning; it shows more focused detail, we see the characters running from intense threats, and the lighting looks fantastic. We see both cinematic shots and real gameplay, which allows players to get a sense of how the game has been improved.

Fear and hope are felt in equal amounts through the upgraded resolution and enhanced graphics; players will definitely enjoy the more realistic feel that this new version of the game offers.

If the announcement about a new and improved version of this game wasn’t enough, then keep an eye out for news on the sequel, A Plague Tale: Requiem which was revealed at E3 2021; it will be releasing for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2022.
