Deadmau5 is making a virtual reality game.
The 35-year-old Canadian house music producer - whose real name is Joel Zimmerman - has teamed up with Absolut Labs, the digital media side of the famous vodka company, to launch a new headset game called 'Absolut Deadmau5'.
The mobile app game will give his fans an insight into his life as it features real footage of his concerts and production as well as driving, rhythm and running mini-games.
The project will also allow players to "Visit his studio, and then navigate him through a series of gameplay challenges, ending with you standing next to him in the booth as he plays his latest track, 'Saved'," according to the app's description.
Deadmau5 and Absolut are also releasing a special cardboard headset, featuring the star's iconic mouse helmet on the front and his cat on the side.
The helmet, which will retail at $17.95, is available for pre-order until July 8 and the app will drop on July 27.
