Montel Williams slammed with tax returns
American talk show host Montel Williams is in trouble with the tax office for allegedly failing to hand over $1m in payments.
The TV personality has been hit with a federal tax lien by bosses at America's Internal Revenue Serrvice in connection with his 2008 and 2009 individual tax returns.
According to papers filed with the New York Cirt Register and obtained by TheSmokingGun.com, Williams and his wife, Tara owe payments over $1m for the two year time slot.
