A postcard containing just eight hundred words by J.K Rowling has sold at auction for £25,000.With the word 'prequel' scribbled onto the card the item was auctioned for charity last night and was hand written and signed by the world famous author.Based on wizards the story was set before the first Harry Potter novel The Philospher's Stone the story featured the characters Sirius Black and Harry's father.When the seventh book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released last year it became the fastest selling book of all time.It went on to sell over 350 million copies worldwide and brought to an end the series of books that had fascinated and excited a generation of children.Rowling's story made up more than half of the night's takings at the auctions as a group of writers and illustrators donated their work to raise money for charlity.
