The story follows Maurice and his loveable misfit friends as they embark on an unforgettable adventure from the Jungle to the South Pole. Much loved Shrek actor, John Lithgow plays Maurice – a charming and comical penguin who is guaranteed to melt the hearts of families across the UK.
Finding himself in the jungle, having fallen off the ice floe as an egg, Maurice is adopted and raised by an affectionate tigress and believes he too is actually a tiger! Maurice divides his time between hunting, re-painting his stripes and teaching his own adopted son, Junior the Tiger fish, his own special brand of hunting techniques. Maurice, Junior and all their jungle buddies form a happy, go-lucky but rather dysfunctional family. Their jungle friends include an Elvis Presley styled warthog, Al and Bob, the comedy frogs and Miguel, a village idiot in gorilla form. Together they embark on an adventure they’ll never forget!
