To dream about wearing sweatpants suggests you need to relax in your waking hours.

Have you been working hard and struggling to find an opportunity to rest? If so, you may need to carve out some time each day to recoup your energy or you could risk burnout. Sweatpants may help you get into the right frame of mind.
On the other hand, if you were taking off a pair of sweatpants and all you do is lounge around all day, it may be wise to get up, get dressed and do something productive with your time. Even more so if you have people who rely on you and bills to pay. Play hard once you’ve worked hard.
Sweatpants were originally designed to keep people warm while they exercised in the outdoors- hence the name, so if you haven’t worked out in a while, perhaps the dream is telling you to move more and to break a sweat.
Sweatpants are often worn by people TV series and movies who have recently had a break up, lost a job or received some other negative news.
It’s possible you have had some bad news lately and all you want to do is sulk at home in your sweatpants. While this may help you in the short term to get to grips with this new information, the dream might be warning you not to dwell too much and try and move on from whatever it is that has befallen you.

To wear sweatpants in your dreamscape could mean you are sweating under the pressure of something.
Perhaps someone is expecting a lot of you lately and you are struggling to keep up. Do you need to tell them that the pace they have set is not within your capabilities?
Or maybe you are pushing yourself too hard to reach a goal faster than you can realistically achieve it. If so, do you need to give yourself a little grace?
If sweatpants are something you wear more at home than for exercise, perhaps you simply need to leave the house and get some fresh air. You may have been cooped up indoors for too long and just need a change of scene. Try it and see, you may feel better once you do this one small thing.
