This may be expected and something you saw coming, however it may have come as a shock and the dream is a result of processing this jolt in your waking hours.
On the flipside, lush green pine needles might represent the start of something exciting. The build up to something you’ve been looking forward to for some time.
Perhaps you have been meticulous about the upkeep of something lately and now you are beginning to relax your self imposed rules around it. It’s possible it doesn’t matter to you as much as it did in the recent past.
You may be willing to let something go that was once very precious to you because it no longer serves a purpose in your life.
