What does it mean to dream about anchovies?

To dream about anchovies suggests you have a love-hate relationship with someone in your waking hours.

Perhaps the dream is telling you that it’s no longer worth your while pursuing this relationship if you are so undecided about this person.

Such extremes aren’t a good basis for a friendship or romantic pairing so perhaps you need to distance yourself from it. Not knowing which way it’s going to go from one day to the next is unsettling.

It might be a thing as opposed to a person that divides your opinion, if so- is it really worth your time? It may be less painful to let go of something rather than a person.

With that said, if you have a love-hate relationship with something you have to continue with, it may be wise to put your feelings aside until it’s over and done with.

However if this feeling is continuous, say in something like a job- it may be time for change.

Hate is a strong word and not something you should have to use very often.

Anchovies are foraging fish- so it’s possible you are having to search far and wide for supplies or provisions at present. Perhaps something is in short supply and worry has set in.

This won’t be forever so the dream could be telling you not to believe everything you hear- it could just be fear mongering. This scarcity might only be temporary so try not to get swept up in the panic of not having enough in future- be sensible.

Anchovies are considered common fish, so maybe you need to come up with an idea that is different from what everyone else is churning out.

Perhaps you are disheartened by the lack of variety in some area of your life. If you are fed up of seeing the same thing over and over again, do you need to be the change you seek?

Are you looking in the right places? Or are you not dedicating as much time as you should to seeking out something new? Don’t expect it to come to you- some effort on your part is needed.

Anchovies have a tangy, salty taste, so it’s possible that when you dream of one, something or someone has become too strong for you lately.

You are overwhelmed by the strength of someone’s conviction or someone has come on too strongly. Do you need to tell them to back off?

Anchovies are often used as bait for other fish, so perhaps you feel that someone is using you for their own benefit at present. If so, do you need to call them out on their motive?
