Tyrese Gibson is still in shock over the death of Paul Walker.
The actor is trying to come to terms with the passing of his 'The Fast and The Furious' co-star - who perished alongside his friend Roger Rodas on November 30, when the car they were travelling in lost control and crashed - and says he is still finding life hard without his close friend.
Speaking on US TV's 'The Arsenio Hall Show', Tyrese said: "I was with him just four days before it happened.
"We were on the set shooting, and that was a lot of shock and trauma for the family and all of us involved, because he's such a nice guy.
"I've never been depressed in my life but I was very, very sad and down and it took me a minute to shake it."
Tyrese thanked all the fans who have paid tribute since Paul died in the crash - which happened in Santa Clarita, California - for their support.
Addressing them directly, he said: "All of the prayers and tweets and posts and Instagrams that you've sent all of us. We love y'all and appreciate y'all and just ... thank you. It means a lot."
The actor also said after his friend's death he felt drawn to visit the Middle East and booked a trip to the tourist city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
He explained: "I just turned 35 and on a spiritual level, I say God sends me emails on what to do, where to go or who to communicate or connect with. And he sent me an email to go to Dubai, and I went to Dubai. And that was the best thing that ever happened."
