The former 'Emmerdale' star - who also has 10-year-old son Corey with ex-partner Darren Day - and her fiancé Sam Greenfield opted for a home birth but didn't expect their now-five-week-old son to arrive in the kitchen when she gave birth last month.
Suzanne revealed: "I gave birth in our kitchen, and luckily it happened in the middle of the night. Corey was in his bedroom at the front of the house, and he slept through it all. I put the sofa next to the birthing pool so I felt quite cosy and enclosed."
The former Hear'Say singer video blogged her entire pregnancy, during which businessman partner Sam "caught" baby Rafferty in his arms, as she pushed through a 27-hour labour.
She told OK! magazine: "I was pushing this little man out, and Sam caught him. It was wonderful. Sam then passed him to me. We were all crying, including Mum who'd never seen anyone give birth. It was the most amazing feeling in the world.'"
Suzanne wanted to have a family experience they could "all share".
She added: "We had all of these candles lit, it was beautiful and calming. I wanted to have an experience that we could all share."
