Megan Thee Stallion has helped cover the funeral costs for a fan who passed away.
The 26-year-old rapper was informed earlier this week that a fan named Shaniah had died.
A friend of Shaniah's, Selena Chichis, was helping her family raise funds for a funeral on a GoFundMe page and reached out to Megan to see if she could help out.
Selena's tweet read: "Meg we lost a hottie.
"Our best friend passed away unexpectedly. They absolutely loved you, listening to our songs was something we did every time we were together. We're helping their family w funeral costs. We started a GoFundMe and are halfway there. (sic)"
The 'Savage' rapper replied by asking how much money was needed and subsequently made an $8,000 donation to the cause.
Another friend of Shaniah's was stunned by Megan's generosity and said that she would be "screaming" if she knew about the donation.
The Twitter user wrote: "Shaniah would be screaming right now that their favourite artist just paid the rest of their memorial fund.
"Meg Thee Stallion is a beautiful person and I know she'll never see this but she's THAT b****. Support the f*** out of her please. A musician who truly cares about their fans."
Megan recently agreed to fund a lucky student's four-year scholarship at Long Island University, where they will receive tuition at her label Roc Nation's School of Music, Sports and Entertainment.
She said: "If I can use my resources to open doors and create opportunities for at least one student, then it's a victory. It's important that we encourage our students to pursue their passions and put them in positions to become the next game-changer in whichever fields they choose."
