Lauren Goodger's mother told her she was fat.
The former 'The Only Way is Essex' star - who has recently dropped four stone in weight - has claimed her body confidence issues stemmed from her childhood after her mum Cheryl told her she had body dysmorphic disorder.
Speaking on 'Loose Women,' she said: "My mum once said to me, 'You know you get the skinny girls that think they're fat, you're fat but think you're skinny.' Body dysmorphia."
The brunette beauty has always had a turbulent relationship with her mother - who sent her to live with her father when she was just four years old due to postnatal depression - and Cheryl's made no secret of the fact she dislikes the way Lauren - who has had a nose job, boob job and Botox injections - has altered her physical appearance.
Speaking in 2014 when Lauren took part in 'Celebrity Big Brother', she said: "[Lauren] was so pretty. I don't like the big lips. I wish she'd stop. I'm not against her having her nose done though. But she really didn't need a boob job."
However, Lauren, 29, now feels comfortable in her body after shrinking five dress sizes and is looking forward to slipping into a skimpy bikini over the summer for a girls' holiday.
She said recently: "I haven't been on a girls' holiday in four years because I didn't feel comfortable. Now I can't wait to book one!I want to be naked every day! I'd definitely be up for nude shoots now while I'm young and haven't got kids."
