James Cracknell's children carry their own bags.
The 43-year-old double Olympic gold medalist likes to encourage his daughters Kiki, seven, Trixie, five, and 12-year-old son Croyde to lug their own luggage around when they're at the airport because he believes it helps them get excited for their impending holiday.
He said: "Kids often like taking ownership of their 'stuff' and are strangely delighted by wheeling their case around.
"Try to get them involved from the outset, so get them to help you with the packing too as it can help to build excitement around the trip."
And his kids aren't the only ones who are riddled with excitement when they hop on a plane as James tries to imagine he's taking in the sights through the little ones' eyes.
He explained: "See the city from the kids' point of view: City centres offer lots of family friendly activities."
