Gemma Oaten believes fame can be a "scary thing" in a relationship.

The former 'Emmerdale' actress - whose ex-boyfriend Andy Barnes ended their relationship "out of nowhere" earlier this year as it was reported he was struggling to cope with her life in the limelight - has admitted she thinks her fame can make it more difficult to sustain a relationship.
Asked if she thinks men are intimidated by her fame, Gemma exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I think any kind of fame can do that. Success can be a scary thing for the person who's successful and also for the person outside of it."
However, the 31-year-old beauty insists the break-up hasn't put her off finding love again in the future.
She shared: "I've not quite got it right yet but hopefully when I do fall in love again and when someone falls in love with me, it's going to be for me and none of that other stuff will matter. We'll see, he'll be out there somewhere."
Meanwhile, Gemma quit her role as Rachel Breckle in the ITV soap for the second time earlier this year and is currently preparing to walk in London Fashion Week for couture label Kolchagov Barba on September 18.
