Frankie Bridge says she still feel too young to be a parent.
Frankie - who is twenty-five years old - gave birth to her first child Parker twelve months ago with husband Wayne Bridge. And while she admits that becoming a parent didn’t make her feel any different, she still feels too young.
Speaking to OK! magazine, the singer said: "No matter what happens between Wayne and me, Parker will always be there and that's a nice feeling, it bonds you.
"You think that when you become a parent you'd change but we don't feel any different - I still feel too young to be a parent. When we look at schools and I'm asked to meet the headmaster I'm like, 'No thanks.' "
Frankie began dating Wayne back in 2010, and the couple announced their engagements in April 2013. Frankie gave birth to the couple’s first child in October last year, before they tied the knot over the summer.
And the singer believes that becoming a parent has mellowed her and she has become more ‘chilled’ over the last year.
She continued: Parker's chilled me out, I'm such a worrier and I thought I'd worry about him all the time, but I've mellowed. I'm usually such a stresser but I actually went the other way [when I was pregnant], although I did worry before the scans.
"But now he's here, I only ever worry if he's unwell."
Frankie is currently taking part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing alongside partner Kevin Clifton. She is one of the favourites to win the series having been at the head of the pack from the start.
