Fearne Cotton is delighted with all the "extraordinary" and "lovely" gestures she's received since announcing her engagement.
The BBC Radio 1 presenter, who has been dating 37-year-old guitarist, Jesse Wood, since 2011 revealed this morning (13.12.13) that he proposed to her on Sunday (08.12.13) and since then people have been keen to congratulate her and send their best wishes.
Talking on her Radio 1 show, she said: "Thank you, it was very, very sweet. All Grimmy's [Nick Grimshaw's] team came in, they don't bother doing that normally, and gave me a hug. It's all very extraordinary and unusual, but lovely. So big thank you to Grimmy's team."
The wedding means the blonde star will become the daughter-in-law of Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood - who fathered Jesse with his late first wife Krissy Findlay - and he has also congratulated the pair, who have eight-month-old son Rex Rayne together, on their big news.
He tweeted: "So happy for my son @JesseWood & @Fearnecotton on their engagement ~ congratulations :) (sic)"
Other celebrities who were keen to wish Fearne well included The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes, who tweeted: "Big congrats to &Fearnecotton xxxx (sic)"
Fearne found love again after calling off her brief engagement to skateboarder Jesse Jenkins in the summer of 2011, which she confessed was her "rock bottom moment".
Her new fiance has two children Arthur, 11, and Lola, seven, with ex-wife Tilly Boone, whom he was married to for eight years from 2003.
