Brooke Hogan's role on 'The Fashion Hero' helped her overcome her own "insecurities".
The 29-year-old actress - who is the daughter of professional wrestler Hulk Hogan - is fronting the new fashion series on Amazon Prime, in which contestants are tasked with becoming role models to prove that everyone is beautiful and to challenge the unrealistic conventional beauty standards.
And Brooke admits the process even helped her deal with her own body sensitivities, as the contestants were able to "lift [her] up" and make her feel good about herself.
She said: "We all became friends and family and supported each other.
"What kind of moved me - which I didn't expect - is that I was on there to help them and to lift them up, and when my insecurities would come out, these participants would come and lift me up.
"They would be like, 'Brooke, you look beautiful today' and say, 'Can we eat lunch with you?' It was so cute!"
The blonde beauty admitted she feels uncomfortable when it comes to her "muscular and athletic" build, and says the pressure is doubled by being under the scrutiny of the spotlight.
She added: "First of all, I'm 5'10", I'm not the skinniest person in the world, I'm muscular and athletic. Normal clothes don't fit me the way they fit on a fashion model, so you have to dress for your body type.
"Just from being in the spotlight people have commented on everything, from how strong my jawline is, how fat my thighs are, my chunky upper arms, to my double chin. I was made to feel like an ogre. I felt like Shrek!"
Despite feeling the pressure to conform, Brooke would never quit her job as she often gets people thanking her for showing off her "struggles", as there are always people who are dealing with the same issues.
Speaking to OK! Online, she said: "Doing reality TV, a lot of people came up to me and said, 'That was so cool that you showed you were struggling with your music, or struggling with your weight, because I deal with the same thing.'"
