Nothing was going to rain on this couple parade on this August bank holiday!
It was officially one of the rainiest bank holidays on record, but that did not stop this groom-to-be proposing to his girlfriend.
The couple who were originally from Denmark we in Trafalgar Square, little did the lady know- but 16 members of the public were gathered to hold an umbrella each that spelled out the big question!
The umbrellas each had a and sewn white rose in the shape of the relevant letter and the people holding them gathered in the right order.
The chosen people off the street were given a run through before the couple arrived and Daisy made sure that everyone was in the right place. Onlookers gathered in the rain to see what was about to take place.
Then the he got down on one knee and popped the question!
Clearly the birds thought the bride to be needed a bit of good luck as she did not escape without being pooed on.
