So where does the idea that Hollywood marriage does not last? Well here are some shining examples of celebrities that have lasted less than a year in their marriage:
Actress Pamela Anderson married Rick Salomon for ten weeks and Kid Rock for six months. Anderson and Salomon had a small wedding at The Mirage after applying for their marriage licence in Las Vegas.
Actress Drew Barrymore was with bar owner Jeremy Thomas nineteen days from February to March 1994 and then she married actor Tom Green with whom she was with for just over a year, after living together for a year. The couple starred together in Charlie’s Angels and Freddy Got Fingered before they split.
Actor Jim Carey married Lauren Holly for ten months in September 1996- July 1997, when they filed for divorce. The couple met on the set of his film Dumb and Dumber.
Beverly Hills 90210’s Shannen Doherty and Ashley Hamilton married for six months before getting divorced in 1994. Doherty was also married to Rick Salomon, which was annulled in 2003, hang on, haven’t we already heard from him?
Frasier’s Kelsey Grammar and stripper Leigh-Ann Csuhany lasted little over a year; it was Grammar’s second marriage. He said that she was abusive and once fired a gun at him. After the couple had talked about divorce, she attempted suicide which resulted in the loss of their child.
Woody Harrelson, best known for his Cheers fame and Nancy Simon got married in Tijuana and decided while there that they should get a divorce in Mexico afterwards, however it did not get finalised until 10 months later as the divorce parlour was shut.
Resident Evil’s Milla Jovovich and Shawn Andrews were married in 1992 and had it annulled two months later. The couple met on the set of Dazed and Confused, however Jovovich was only 16 at the time and Andrews was 21, so it was annulled by her mother.
Kim Kardashian and NBA player Kris Humphries married for only 72 days before getting a divorce; it was Humphries’ first divorce and Kardashian's second. They were married in Montecito, California, just before releasing her Wedding fragrance ‘Kim Kardashian Love’. The TV channel ‘E’ aired the wedding preparations and following the break up, Kardashian was quoted saying that it ended due to ‘irreconcilable differences’.
Singer Britney Spears and Jason Allen Alexander married in Las Vegas and a mere 56 hours later got it annulled. They were married at The Little White Wedding Chapel, reports said that Spears ‘lacked the understanding of her actions’.
Bridget Jones’ Renee Zellweger and singer Kenny Chesney were married for four months before getting it annulled. The pair were married on the Island of St John. Zelweger said that the reason for the annulment was ‘fraud’ and after the media misconstrued what she meant, she clarified that it was a legal term and not a reflection of her ex-husbands character. 
Ironically, Zelweger was engaged to Jim Carey for a year too (from 1999-2000) following their film Me, Myself and Irene; what a tangled we they do weave!
Look out Ross from Friends- three divorces doesn't sound that bad now!
