Hen nights are becoming more extravagant as time goes on, with many brides to be partying with a stripper to pass the wee hours away before they become a married woman.

Like the whole postcode theory- ‘what happens on a hen do stays on a hen do’ is the attitude that the hens are taking. Many believe that their man should never know of what goes on their last night of freedom.
However almost half disagree and say that it should not be an excuse for unfaithful behaviour and that the men should know what went on before saying the final ‘I do’.
15% do have something to confess to however- either a one night stand with their stripper or a sneaky snog under their belt on their hen do celebration. Because of this, a lot of women believe that they are putting the men to shame compared to their stag to activities. A lot of hen ladies think that they are more outrageous than men are on stag dos, breaking the stereotype.
The main findings of the study were that hens prefer a short stay to save on pennies as the recession continues to hit big celebrations, whatever the occasion might be. Many prefer the one night option with a cost of no more than £50 a head- a cheap and cheerful night of fun!
Manchester, London, Blackpool and Brighton are the favourite hotspots for hen dos with seaside resorts and cities abroad being a particular favourite.
Hen dos are about dressing outrageously and acting out of character but they are also about rekindling old friendships. All while drinking cocktails, wearing all things willy shape and sporting fancy dress. And cleebs are no strangers to this habit either!
It’s no surprise the most of the conversation at a hen do is wedding, wedding, wedding, however it would seem that this is cast aside once the stripper arrives!
Richard Longhurst from Hen Night HQ said: “What this shows is that hen parties are becoming a lot simpler and a lot cheaper than they used to be – but they remain just as outrageous as ever. And there is definite feeling amongst girls, just as there is with fellas, that what happens on tour, stays on tour. So if some do go a bit over the top with a stripper, there is no way most women are letting on to their fellas afterwards.“
