The couple announced their engagement to each other in March 1998 and Culkin married actress Milner on the 21st June 1998 when they were both just 17 years old.

They separated in 2000 and subsequently divorced in 2002 because she reportedly wanted family and Culkin wanted to get back into acting after retiring at just 14 years old.

Rumours floated around that the couple began dating again after their divorce, however it would seem that nothing came of it, despite reports that Culkin wanted to have a 'second chance' with her.
