Tunstall began dating Bullen back in 2003 who is also the drummer in her band.

Bullen reportedly proposed to her on Christmas Day in 2007 at her parent's home in St Andrews, Scotland, which they publicly announced in January 2008.
They were married on the 6th September 2008 at the Flodigarry Country House on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.
Unfortunately the couple separated in 2012 and their divorce was finalised in May 2013.
