While Beckinsale was in a relationship with actor Michael Sheen, she reportedly begged director Len Wiseman to cast Sheen in the film Underworld in which she was the star. While the pair were on set, both her and Wiseman, who was also married to a kindergarten teacher, apparently began having a relationship.
