Johnson married his manager Garcia on 3rd May 1997 and have since had a daughter, Simone Alexandra Johnson born on the 14 th August 2001 in Davie, Florida.

Garcia was only 22 when they first met at the University of Miami and Garcia later donated $2 million to the university for the Alumni Centre's living room to be named 'The Dany and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's Living Room'. The donation was announced at the 2006 premiere in Miami of Gridiron Gang.
The pair married the day after Johnson's 25th birthday and apparently dated for years before Johnson finally met her parents, just before their wedding day.
Both Garcia and Johnson had many connections outside of their marriage- one being that Garcia became the co-founder and vice president of The Dwayne Johnson Rock Foundation which aims to educate, empower and motivate children in both health and fitness.
On 1st June, the couple announced their split and got a divorce on 19th May 2008, however vowed to always be best friends and they have reportedly maintained a successful business partnership since their separation.
