The pair met on the set of Take Me Home Tonight back in 2007 at the table read. They began dating not long after, were engaged two years later and married in a small ceremony Bali on 9th July 2009.

The couple now have a home in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles. They each had a dead bug collection before they met and have since combined their collections!
The loved up pair had their first son Jack back in August 2012 who was nine weeks premature and spent a month in NICU before he was able to go home with them. Pratt claims that this experience restored his faith in God and Christianity admitting that both him and Faris prayed a lot as they were fearful for their child's life.

He also told Women's Health magazine "If you're like Anna and myself, we're very similar. We married ourselves because we have comparable egos and abnormally high self-esteem."
Their secret, he reveals, is being truthful with each other. "Honesty is the best policy, but being mindful of someone's feelings is also very important. It's not okay to lie, but it is okay to protect your partner. And understanding the difference requires wisdom."
