Morissette married Treadway on the 22nd May 2010 in a private ceremony with only their family present at their home in Los Angeles.

They now have a son together; Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway, was born on December 25, 2010.
Morissette said some wonderful things about her husband in her interview with Oprah;
"I would date people, and there would be something about me that would hit a brick wall with whomever I was sitting across from. And with Souleye, when I first met him, I could see that there was this limitlessness to where we could go."
"I was even a little scared thinking, 'Oh, God, I'm going to be going into territories that are outside of my jurisdiction and outside of my comfort zone if I hang out with this person. In February 2016, she announced that she was expecting her second child with Treadway and daughter Onyx Solace was born on the 23rd June 2016.
