The couple met in 1994 on a beach in Mexico and married in 2001 at Ballintubber Abbey in County Mayo, Ireland.

They have two sons, Dylan Thomas Brosnan, who was born on 13th January 1997 and Paris Beckett Brosnan, born on 27th February 2001.
Together the pair have worked on alongside the Natural Resources Defence Council and International Fund for Animal Welfare to stop a salt factory from being built in Laguna San Lgnacio and are both passionate about marine mammal protection.
