Electra married Dave Navarro, lead guitarist in Jane's Addiction, on 22nd November 2003 after meeting each other on a blind date. She wore a strapless beaded Badgley Mischka gown on the big day.

Guests at their wedding included Kelly and Jack Osbourne, who had the shared experience of starring in their own reality show.
The pair aired their dirty laundry on the MTV show 'Till Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave', which was filmed on the days leading up to their very non-traditional wedding day. This only seemed fitting after Carmen and Dave- An MTV Love Story recorded the ups and downs in their early dating days. The couple delayed getting married until the first show aired which was a natural precursor to their marriage plans.
The couple reported that the show had nothing to do with the breakdown of their relationship.
On 17th July 2006, Navarro reported that the couple were separating and then Electra filed for divorce just one month after. The pair announced their split in Star Magazine.
The divorce was finalised on 20 th February 2013.
