Akamas Villas Have A Range of Locations For Weddings

Despite enduring a painful divorce, Martin Maynard hasn’t lost all hope in marriage and has transformed what used to be a holiday home for himself and his family, into a successful business.

Akamas Villas has recently launched a new wedding and honeymoon service which aims to give the bride and groom piece of mind as well as high end service and luxury.

“I wanted to create a company which was much more personal, not just for the guests but also with the villa owners so that they felt comfortable about letting their villas out to guests.”

When Martin started this business venture two years ago, he had found three other owners wishing to participate and had four villas. Now, the company have 40 villas.

It was only recently that Akamas Villas decided to go into the wedding industry. Martin says, “With Cyprus being the island of Aphrodite, the Goddess of love, it’s a very romantic place to get married with a big wedding market.”

This led to the company making some of their most luxurious villas available to weddings parties, even allowing for the ceremony to take place in the gardens of the villa.

Martin says, “We can offer to have your wedding at the some of the best hotels in Cyprus, but we are also able to set up a wedding in one of our most luxurious villas, Villa Charno.

“You can have the whole ceremony in the gardens and we’ll arrange for caterers and then the bride and groom can either stay at that villa or we can arrange a number of options for them, and also different villas for the wedding guests.”

Currently, there are five villas available to host the bride, groom and guests, and Akamas Villas are also in contact with hotels, which are also available to host weddings.

Villa Charno allows you all to stay in one place to enjoy the celebration together. With five bedrooms, sleeping 10 in total, a massive pool and a built in BBQ area being some of the luxuries, you’re really getting what you pay for.

Every bride needs a wedding planner to help with all the little details, and Akamas Villas are able to work with them to get you the perfect wedding ceremony in the perfect location.

The location of the villas, which are situated in the Akamas Region, allow for you to be secluded but not too far away from the major cities and airports, so you can create your own little haven for yourself and your wedding party.

As much as he loves what he does, Martin says that it’s all about giving the guests a great time and have the enjoy themselves as much as possible.

He says, “It’s about giving the guests the wow factor, and making sure they have a great time.”
