The long awaited Olympics have started so this week we’re focusing on the British theme. This means lots of red, white and blue to make your special day that little more patriotic!
Wedding cakes come in all different shapes and sizes, but a lovely quaint touch is to have cupcakes! They can be the main attractive or as a little gift for each of the guests to take home, either way they’ll be a big hit. To give them that British touch, these cupcake cases are fantastic! They’re quirky and will give the guests a good chuckle.
You’ll need something to put those lovely cupcakes on! These British themed cupcakes stands fit right in with the quirky cupcake cases and you don’t have to limit yourself to cakes; you can put anything on them. Sandwiches and scones are typically British have a bit of variation and have a different stand for each food. The best thing is, you can use them for afternoon teas after the wedding.
Every bride needs a garter and this one is super feminine and will leave your new husband wanting more once he’s removed it from your leg. The thin, delicate garter is made of white and blue lace covered elastin and will finish any brides outfit perfectly.
White is the colour reserved to the bride, so why not dress your bridesmaids in royal blue to keep the British theme flowing? This dress will please all the bridesmaids as it nips in at the waist and floats down to hide any imperfections. To tie in with the theme, have the groomsmen accented in red!
Centre pieces are key to decorating any table and these little chocolate hearts will do just that. The great thing about these is that at the end of the night, they can be decanted into favour boxes and be taken home by the guests!
