Natalie and Benjamin wed in a private ceremony on Saturday 4th August at a private residence in Big Sur, California. The wedding was kept very low key with only 60 close family and friends in attendance! Natalie and Benjamin had a nature themed wedding only serving vegan food to their guests so we’re showing you how to recreate their wedding!
Natalie wore a beautiful Rodarte gown which was simple yet stunning. The sheer, high neckline and sheer long sleeves were very modest yet feminine and she mixed it up by straying from the traditional full length dress. This Addaria Spot Dress from Coast is similar to Natalie’s and will help you to recreate the look beautifully.
Headbands aren’t the usual attire for weddings but Natalie wore a floral headband to match the surroundings of her wedding location. It maintained the hippie chic look and made her look like a princess! This headband for Nordstorm is understated but will crown your head beautifully. You can wear it with tumbling locks or pin your hair up and wear it with a soft bun, either will look super pretty!
Natalie opted for cream ballet pumps instead of the traditional heels. This is super clever as you’ll not be dying to take your shoes off due to the pain in your feet, plus you’re first dance will go a little smoother! These cream ballet pumps from Debenhams will keep your feet intact and will complement the dress nicely.
To keep with the nature theme, keep the bridesmaids in earthy colours. We don’t know if Natalie had bridesmaids, so we can only guess at colours but we think this Suzi Chin for Maggy Boutique Pleated Drape Bodice Jersey Dress would work great within the theme. Pair it with some heels or some sandals to complete the look.
This garland of lights would be great to decorate the tables with. If you’re having an evening ceremony like Natalie, then have these strewn around throughout the ceremony and reception with look amazing and create a really nice ambiance. Get yours from Habitat!
