Anthony married the former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres on 9th May 2000 in Las Vegas. They have two sons together, Cristian Anthony Muniz, named after the Mexican singer Cristian Castro and Ryan Anthony Muniz.

The couples faced problems early on into their marriage and separated only two years after they initially wed.
The pair reconciled and renewed their wedding vows on 7th December 2002 in a formal ceremony at San Juan's Cathedral in Puerto Rico.
They separated again in October 2003 and Torres filed for divorce in January 2004.
Torres reportedly traded in her engagement ring for a diamond encrusted watch and wrote the book Married to Me: How Committing to Myself Led to Triumph After Divorce.
