Before they tied the knot- Fisher converted to Judaism; "I will definitely have a Jewish wedding just to be with Sacha. She completed her conversion by 2007 after three years of study, took the name Ayala- the Hebrew name for doe and then received the approval of Baron Cohen's parents who are Jewish.
