We do hope that the rumours of a romance between Michelle Williams and Jason Segal are true. They certainly make a cute couple. There has been photos emerge of them strolling hand in hand –so we’re guessing that they won’t try and deny it. What excuses can you give for holding hands with someone? Helping her cross the road? Was she lost? Hmmm... they won’t wash with us. Michelle Williams has done more straight films recently like My Week with Marylyn, whereas Jason Segel is known for starring in the comedies. They had been eating a meal in Brooklyn last weekend when they let their guard down and held hands and did some affectionate touching. A source said: "He put his arm around her and made her laugh as they walked. They seemed very relaxed." It was the next day that Jason Segel was spotted watching Michelle’s 6 year old daughter Matilda riding on her scooter – obviously proving he can be a responsible parent too. And then, when people have investigated further, Michelle and Jason have actually been spotted out together several times having meals in LA. A source close to them said: "They are smitten and very serious. She hasn't been this happy in a long time." Well, we hope he does make her smile. She’s had a tough time over the years. She was engaged to Heath Ledger at one point. He is the father of her daughter, but he was found dead 4 years ago. She also dated a film maker, but they split in 2009, and then she was linked to a director last year, but nothing seemed to come of it. Jason Segel hasn’t had much of a documented love life, so let’s hope Michelle is the one! Ah, we love a good celebrity happy ending.
