Simon Cowell only has one person more famous than him in the world – and that person is Hitler. Simon must be pleased to have come out so recognisable in a recent poll, but also must be gutted to lose out to such a man. If you’re going to lose out, you don’t want it to be Hitler. A survey was done and showed lots of people pictures of famous faces, the face that people recognised the most was Adolf Hitler – in second place it was Simon Cowell. He did beat the likes of other British icons though like Margaret Thatcher, Winston Churchill and Queen Victoria, which proves just how big he is. Over 99% of people could name Hitler when they saw his face, but only 95% of people could recognise Simon Cowell’s face when they saw it. It is still a very high number – a shock in the survey is Lady Gaga who didn’t do very well at all – in fact, she finished near the bottom – maybe it’s because she’s always wearing crazy outfits! Simon Cowell, however, has had the same boring look for years – he’ll never lower the waistband of those trousers. Simon has this week returned to his seat on the judging panel of X Factor USA after taking time off with bronchitis. Louis Walsh had been standing in for him and by the sounds of things had been more pleasant than Simon. On Simon’s first day back, he tweeted: "Unfortunately Britney & Demi are now known as the gruesome twosome. V happy to be back - Demi more annoying than ever, Britney has grown claws!" Britney then replied back saying she wasn’t afraid to use them! Go Britney! Scratch away!
