David Beckham and Gordon Ramsay are reportedly wanted for a new Las Vegas restaurant. Tycoon Steve Wynn is said to be putting together a big-money deal to secure the services of the two Brits for his Wynn Resort, according to The Sun. He is apparently planning a new sports bar and grill on his complex, and feels the two would be perfect for the new venture. A source said: "The Strip has never seen such fierce competition for food, but Gordon's places are full seven nights a week. He's one of the best chefs in the world, so it's only natural that Steve feels he should have a place in his hotel as it's the most luxurious on The Strip. "When you add David Beckham's global status into the mix it has the potential to be the most talked-about restaurant in Vegas. "Steve Wynn hasn't cared about money since he became a billionaire after rejuvenating The Strip in the early '90s. "His ambition is quite simply to have the best hotels in the world. He spent more than £2 billion doing that with the Wynn Resort and thinks Gordon and David can make it even better." Gordon Ramsay already owns three places in Vegas, his BurGR bar at Planet Hollywood, a steak house at Paris and the Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace. Beckham and Ramsay have already teamed up for their first joint restaurant, Union Street Cafe, which is scheduled to open near London's Borough Market in September.
