These truffles are simply divine and are CHOCfull of goodness. They are vegan, dairy free and can be made without any added sugar or simply with a natural sweetener for those who want a bit of sweetness in their lives. One of my favourite recipes and great to give away as gifts or to indulge in anytime of the day.

Seriously CHOCaliciousRaw Chocolate Truffle Recipe

Ingredients:

100g Pecan Nuts

8 Pitted Dates (soaked for 2-3 minutes in warm water)

4-5 tbsp CHOC Chick Raw Cacao Powder

2-3 tbsp Sweet Freedom or Agave Syrup

Extra raw cacao powder, desiccated coconut, ground almonds or nuts to roll the truffles

Directions:

1) Blend the pecan nuts well in a food processor.

2) Add the dates and continue to blitz until you have a smooth nutty paste (add a little of the warm water used to soften the dates to help blend if needed).

3) Add the raw cacao powder and the Sweet Freedom/agave syrup if desires and continue to blend well (have a little taste it's absolutely delish).

4) Roll a teaspoon of the mix into round balls and roll in the cacao powder, desiccated coconut or ground almonds.

5) Chill the truffles in the fridge for half an hour to an hour and enjoy!

*These truffles can be kept in the fridge for up to 7 days or for several weeks in the freezer (simply take some out when you fancy a CHOCtreat and leave out for 15-20mins to defrost or transfer to the fridge to ensure you always have a supply.
