Premium cheese producer, Snowdonia Cheese Company, is extending its range of award-winning foods - with the introduction of an exciting new chutney collection.

Four mouth-watering sweet and savoury varieties include Balsamic Caramelised Onion, Fig & Apple, Pear, Date & Cognac and Spiced Tomato & Vodka will go on sale across the UK this autumn.
Traditionally handcrafted, cooked in copper pans and using the finest ingredients, all of the recipes are unique to Snowdonia Cheese and produced in North Wales.
The Balsamic Caramelised Onion Chutney is a savoury chutney with a sweet stickiness and intense flavour. Blending aged Balsamic vinegar from Modena with caramelized onions and muscovado sugar to give depth of flavor and succulent texture.
For fans of a more fruity flavour, the Fig & Apple Chutney promises a sweet and succulent taste. This recipe combines the richness of figs with silky, tangy Bramley apples.
The addition of Cognac helps create a rich and deep flavour in the Pear, Date & Cognac Chutney, with the flex of dates and soft chunks of snow pear providing a soft yet chunky texture.
Finally, fans of a bloody Mary can rejoice with the Spiced Tomato & Vodka chutney combining sun-drenched tomatoes, a hint of spice and premium French vodka for a little kick – creating a well balanced and soft chunky chutney with plenty of flavour.
Priced at £2.65 per jar, the chutneys will be available in independent farm shops, delicatessens, cheese mongers and selected retailers including Selfridges. The Pear, Date and Cognac chutney will be available on the Waitrose Deli counter from December.
In addition to individual jars, a range of exclusive gift packs will be available combining the new chutneys with Snowdonia’s award-winning truckles.
