Raw Avocado, Red Onion & Tomato Salad

This Raw Avocado, Red Onion & Tomato Salad is perfect for summer alongside a BBQ or just on its own if you fancy a light lunch. These days, the avocado has become an incredibly popular food among health conscious individuals. It is often referred to as a superfood… which is not surprising given its health properties, they are packed full of protein and vitamins which all contribute towards healthy living.

Ingredients

  • 2 Avocados (Peeled & Sliced)
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 handful of fresh basil leaves
  • 1 punnet of tomatoes on the vine
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)

Directions

  1. Peel and slice two whole avocados and put on a place
  2. Peel and slice the red onion and add on
  3. Place the tomatoes on the vine around the plate
  4. Sprinkle on some fresh basil leaves
  5. Add on a tbsp of balsamic glaze on the top if desired
