This Raw Avocado, Red Onion & Tomato Salad is perfect for summer alongside a BBQ or just on its own if you fancy a light lunch. These days, the avocado has become an incredibly popular food among health conscious individuals. It is often referred to as a superfood… which is not surprising given its health properties, they are packed full of protein and vitamins which all contribute towards healthy living.
Ingredients
- 2 Avocados (Peeled & Sliced)
- 1 red onion
- 1 handful of fresh basil leaves
- 1 punnet of tomatoes on the vine
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
Directions
- Peel and slice two whole avocados and put on a place
- Peel and slice the red onion and add on
- Place the tomatoes on the vine around the plate
- Sprinkle on some fresh basil leaves
- Add on a tbsp of balsamic glaze on the top if desired
