Alicia Silverstone
Silverstone released her debut book The Kind Diet, a guide to vegan nutrition in 2009. She also launched its associated website- The Kind Life. The Kind Diet topped the Hardcover Advice & Misc. category of The New York Times Best Seller list.
In 2014, she published her follow up book The Kind Mama and plans to write a third, The Kind Diet Cookbook.
James Cromwell
Cromwell has been an advocate of progressive causes, particularly animal rights for many years. He became a vegetarian in 1974 after seeing a stockyard in Texas. He then became an ethical vegan while playing the character of Farmer Hoggett in the 1995 film Babe. He often speaks out on issues regarding animal cruelty for PETA, mostly informing people about the treatment of pigs.
Kate Mara
Mara credits her vegan diet and regular workouts as her way of keeping in shape. She told The Independent; " I'm a massive animal lover, too." she explained. "Being vegan has been so good for me. I've never felt better."
Moby
Moby is a vegan and a supporter of animal rights.
In March 2010, he made his debut as an author when Gristle: From Factory Farms to Food Safety (Thinking Twice About the Meat We Eat) was published. The books is a collection of essays from people in the food industry.
Moby launched a vegan restaurant named Little Pine in Los Angeles that opened for business on November 20, 2015 and he personally runs the restaurant.
Liam Hemsworth
Hemsworth is vegan and in an interview with Men's Fitness that he revealed he found "no negatives to eating like this. I feel nothing but positive, mentally and physically." He was named PETA's Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2016.
Thandie Newton
Newton is vegan and was named PETA's "Sexiest Vegan of 2014" in the UK.
Bryan Adams
Adams has been a vegan since the age of 29. He originally made the shift for health reasons, but is also an advocate for animal rights.
Casey Affleck
Affleck supports many animal rights movements and campaigns for PETA and Farm Sanctuary. He is a vegan, and eats no "meat or any other animal products."
Kristen Bell
At age 11, Bell went vegetarian. In an interview with PETA, Bell stated, "I have always been an animal lover. I had a hard time disassociating the animals I cuddled with-dogs and cats, for example-from the animals on my plate, and I never really cared for the taste of meat.
