Ingredients:
8 Violife Slices with Mozzarella flavour (cut in half)
2 large tomatoes
Fresh basil
Olive oil
Freshly ground salt and pepper
Method:
To create Italy’s simplest and possibly most delicious salad, layer alternating slices of tomatoes and Violife Slices with Mozzarella Flavour (cut in half), adding a basil leaf between each, on a large, shallow platter.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with sea salt and pepper.
For a slight twist mix a little vegan pesto in with your olive oil, or sprinkle with a little balsamic vinegar.
