I'm a huge fan of the Alpro Unsweetened Almond Drink so this Alpro Unsweetened Unroasted Almond Drink had a lot to live up to.

The first thig I noticed was the smell, the original version has a fairly non-descript smell, however this one gives you a hit of marzipan as soon as you bring it up to your mouth to drink.
It is not as creamy as the original; it seems to be thinner in consistency but sweeter- despite it containing no sugar. If you are a fan of marzipan you will love this as it has the same taste but with only a fraction of the calories.
This is another one that fits in well with the Slimming World plan as it's only 13 calories per 100ml, so you can put it in your cuppas, on your cereal and have a glass before bed without the guilt that comes with the more indulgent varieties of plant based milk.
As with the other drinks in the range, it is fortified with vitamin D, B2, B12, E and calcium- a much tastier way to boost your vitamin levels than taking a supplement.
Overall, I still prefer the original version of this as I enjoy creamy over sweet to taste, however, for those who have a sweet tooth, I would guess this might be the better option for you.
