New research by The Almond Board of California has proved 10.07am marks secret snack time for UK workers. 63% of the employed even rely on a snack drawer to keep their snack stash private. A handful of almonds (28g) is a tasty snack you can feel good about. Full of whole food benefits for a healthier diet and planet, almonds are natural, responsibly grown, gluten-free, delicious and full of good stuff.
Serves 4
120g whole natural almonds
160g fresh cherries
If you like, put the almonds into a dry frying pan and heat for about 1 minute to toast them, shaking the pan occasionally. Cool, then serve with the cherries.
TIP: Almonds and cherries make a great combo – though try this recipe with blueberries too.
