The WWE have finally unveiled a brand new Women's Championship, seemingly retiring the Diva's Championship in the process.

Lita told fans the news in the WrestleMania Kickoff Show and the announcement was met with incredible cheers.

WWE viewers have for some time campaigned for the women to be referred to as such for some time, hoping for the retirement of the word 'Diva' for the past couple of years.

The first winner of the new title will be determined tonight in a Triple Threat, with current champ Charlotte defending against Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks.
